WMC Releases OSHA Vaccine & Testing Mandate Explainer & FAQposted on November 10, 2021
|ATTN: WMC MEMBERS |
Thank you for joining us this week for our webinar outlining new requirements for businesses with 100 or more employees to require workers to be vaccinated or be subject to weekly COVID-19 testing. As we covered in the webinar, the Biden Administration published the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) emergency temporary standard (ETS) for COVID-19 vaccination and testing mandates for businesses with 100 or more employees on November 5, 2021. This mandate states that all employers of 100 or more employees, at any time during the effective dates of the ETS, require all of their employees to be either fully vaccinated or subject to weekly COVID-19 testing. Most aspects of the mandate must be in place by December 6, 2021. While the ETS is currently being challenged in court, WMC wants to ensure you can prepare your businesses in the case those lawsuits are unsuccessful. With the deadline approaching, WMC put together a comprehensive guide to the rules regarding OSHA’s vaccine and testing mandate to make sure your company can understand and abide by the new standards.
