Marshfield Economic Development Board

The Economic Development Board (EDB) was established by Ordinance #1227 with the City of Marshfield for the purpose of directing, overseeing, and coordinating all economic development activities within the City of Marshfield to adopt plans and strategies designed to foster business growth and development, and to ensure that the City and its partners work in a cooperative manner to promote coordinated economic development in the community.

Business Tools for Success

City of Marshfield’s 2014 Housing Study:  In late 2013, the City of Marshfield, through the Economic Development Board contracted with MSA Professional Services, Inc. to complete a Housing Study and Needs Assessment. The objectives of this study are a better understanding of how the Marshfield area housing market works and recommendations to improve that function.
