March 31, 2021 (WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI): No mask requirement planned in Wood County after State Supreme Court strikes down Governor’s Order.
Officials in the Wood County area have no immediate plans to impose a local mask mandate. Wood County Health Director Sue Kunferman said her office does not plan to issue a local emergency order requiring face coverings after the Wisconsin Supreme Court ended Gov. Tony Evers’s statewide mask mandate on Wednesday.
