Wednesday, July 3, 2019 – Mayor Bob McManus is looking to fill the remainder of a 5-year term on the Utility Commission due to a resignation. The City of Marshfield’s Municipal Code states the board must have five members are to be elected by the Common Council.
Any resident living in the city limits of Marshfield interested in serving as a commissioner on the Utility Commission for a term beginning immediately and ending September 30, 2022 must submit a letter to the Office of the Mayor, in writing, stating his/her qualifications and reasons for wanting to serve on the commission. The names of the interested persons will be presented to the Common Council at the July 23rd meeting.
Letters can be mailed to the Office of the Mayor at 207 W. 6th St. or e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline to receive a letter of interest is 5 PM on Thursday, July 18th.
