Marshfield is Pooling Together for an Outdoor Aquatics Center

The Marshfield Outdoor Aquatics Center Campaign Committee, co-chaired by Bob McManus, Kara McManus, Ben Lee and Ruwan Dissanayake, has launched the capital campaign for a new outdoor aquatics facility that will replace the current Hefko Pool in Marshfield. The total cost of the new facility is $6,000,000. The City of Marshfield’s Common Council recognizes the importance of an outdoor aquatics center and made the initial commitment of $3,000,000 as a community challenge grant; they will match all gifts, dollar for dollar, up to $3,000,000.

The Parks and Recreation Department, the City of Marshfield, the Marshfield Area Community Foundation as a community partner and many volunteers have developed careful and strategic plans to make this project come to fruition.
